Helping Dullstroom's People

Dullstroom is home to many, and we believe everyone who calls this town home has the right to safety, dignity and a worthwhile life.

These are the ways that we are working to make that a reality.

PUBLIC WASTEBINS

The DDD has been restoring metal bins to improve the public's ability to keep Dullstroom free from litter, with over 30 bins having been installed throughout the town.

PARK RUN RESTORATION

The DDD maintains and initiated a major improvement of  the Park Run route so residents and visitors can continue enjoying one of Dullstroom’s favourite outdoor community activities.

SCHOOL ATHLETICS TRACK

We developed a new athletics track just in time for local schools to host an athletics day. It will be used for similar events hosted by the public going forward.

SCHOOL NETBALL COURT

The DDD upgraded school sports infrastructure in Sakhelwe, creating better recreational sports opportunities for young people in Dullstroom.

POLICE STATION

We worked alongside other local community groups  to improve the facilities and infrastructure at the Dullstroom Police Station.

CRECHE UPGRADE

Repaired and improved fencing as well as a new water tank have helped provide young children in Dullstroom with a better place to learn and grow.

EVENT CLEAN-UPS

The DDD offers cleaning services after town events, helping businesses ensure that their activities, markets and events don't have a negative impact on the town's environment.
